A strange sort of post today - not really genealogically based:

If a famous director wanted to make a movie about one of your female ancestors
who would it be? What actress would you cast in the role and why?
The female ancestor the movie would be made about would, of course, be my mother - the woman the majority of this month's posts have been about.

Sticking with the Fearless Females theme, the director would be Gillian Armstrong.
And to play Mum I have chosen a contemporary of hers - a fabulous Fearless Female - Maggie Smith who was born just a few months before Mum and has made a career in front of the cameras and on the stage.
I've stolen a few images of Maggie across the years from a search of google images - and send my apologies to the rightful owners for my audacity at doing so:
